Anime and manga are among the most recognizable and beloved aspects of Japanese culture worldwide. From the dynamic action scenes of shonen anime to the heartfelt storytelling of slice-of-life manga, these mediums offer a window into the creativity and imagination of Japanese artists. For many of our students, a passion for anime and manga is what sparked their interest in learning Japanese. Our school provides a unique environment where you can connect with fellow fans who share your enthusiasm, whether you’re discussing the latest series, exchanging recommendations, or even exploring the cultural references embedded in these works.

In our classes we aim to help our students to appreciate their favourite Anime & Manga series on a whole new level. For some that might be understanding the cultural nuances of the stories and characters but many of our students have no trouble being able to read manga in Japanese or watch anime without subtitles enabling them to appreciate these art forms on a whole new level. Plus, we are always on the search for local events such as anime screenings, manga workshops and even cosplay events so our students are always in the know. When you join our school, you’re not just learning Japanese—you’re becoming part of a vibrant community where your love for anime and manga can flourish. Let us help you enhance your understanding and appreciation of these iconic Japanese cultural exports while building lasting connections with others who share your passion.
